Know Your Nutbags

I was going to write an expose of Westboro Baptist Church. I started researching this organization because I felt that no organization could be guilty of as much mass mental retardation as this one has been portrayed to be afflicted with, and because I feel it is important to know your enemy.

I could talk about how Founder Fred Phelps, aside from being a disbarred lawyer,  had trouble being admitted to the Kansas State Bar in the first place due to no judges being willing to vouch for his ”good character”, or how his sparse educational background portrays a man of an obviously substandard intellect. It is also useful to know that of the 71 confirmed members of this “Church,” 60 are related to Phelps by “blood, marriage, or both.”  Sounds downright inbred or a bit incestuous wouldn’t you say?

But upon further reflection, I feel the best way to expose this group of human flotsam is to post a link to the page “Westboro Baptist Church Songs.”  

A casual listen to these songs will show that if, at any time, their collective mental hymen was ever pierced, logic must have worn a condom.
